THE STANLEY and WILCOCK FAMILY

CHARLES FORSHALL (CHARLES¹) was baptised on the 3^rd August, 1711 in St. Hilary Parish Church, Wallasey, Wirral. He was the son of CHARLES FORSHALL and he married MARY. They raised their family in Liscard, where Charles worked as a labourer.

In 1784, Charles died and was buried on the 15^th September, 1784 in St. Hilary Parish Church Wallasey, Wirral. After Charles died Mary had no means of support and died a pauper. Mary was buried with her husband on the 28^th October, 1785.

The children of CHARLES FORSHALL and MARY are:

1. MARTHA FORSHALL, who was born in Liscard, Wirral and baptised on the 9^th January, 1745/46 in St. Hilary Parish Church Wallasey. She was a twin to sister, Mary. Martha married ROBERT STANLEY on the 3^rd October, 1774 in St. Hilary Parish Church, Wallasey. Martha died in September 1781 in Wallasey.

2. MARY FORSHALL was born in Liscard and was baptised at the same time as her twin sister, Martha, in St. Hilary Parish Church, Wallasey. Mary died in Liscard and was buried on the 8^th April, 1764 in St. Hilary Parish Church Wallasey, Wirral.

3. An unnamed child was born in Liscard and baptised on the 2^nd February, 1748/49 and buried the following day in St. Hilary Parish Church, Wallasey.

4. THOMAS FORSHALL was buried on the 3^rd February, 1749/50 in St. Hilary Parish Church, Wallasey.

5. ESTHER FORSHALL was born in Liscard and was baptised on the 26^th August, 1751 in St. Hilary Parish Church, Wallasey and buried on the 3^rd May, 1771 in St. Hilary Parish Church, Wallasey.

6. KATHERINE FORSHALL was born in Liscard and was baptised on the 3^rd July, 1754 in St. Hilary Parish Church, Wallasey.

7. ANN FORSHALL married JOHN DAVIES of West Kirby on the 29^th June, 1773 in St. Hilary Parish Church, Wallasey.
