Generation 1

GERARD STANLEY (HENRY2, RICHARD 1) was born in Storeton, Wirral, and was baptised in St. Andrew Parish Church, Bebington, Wirral on February 20th, 1590.

We think Gerard was married three times. His first wife, Anna, died in Storeton and was buried in St. Andrew Parish Church, Bebington on the 17th February, 1643. Gerard's second wife, Joanna, was buried on the 25th April, 1644. Sarah, his third wife, had a family and survived him. Gerard was a carpenter.

Gerard died in 1651 and was buried in St. Andrew Parish Church on the 30 th August 1651. Sarah was buried with him on the 29th December 1668.

HENRY STANLEY (GERARD3, HENRY2, RICHARD1) was born 1648 in Storeton. He was baptised on the 7th May, 1648 at St. Andrew Parish Church, Bebington.

Henry married MARIA. She died in Storeton and was buried on the 31st January, 1695, in St. Andrew Parish Church, Bebington. Henry also died in Storeton and was buried on the 9th February, 1731 at St. Andrew Parish Church, Bebington.

GERARD STANLEY (HENRY4, GERARD3, HENRY2, RICHARD1) was born in Storeton in 1679 and was baptised on the 12th January, 1678/79 in St. Andrew Parish Church, Bebington.

He married RUTH SHERLOCK on the 2nd November, 1704 in St. Andrew Parish Church, Bebington. They settled in Wallasey, where they raised their family. Gerard died in Wallasey and was buried on the 8th May, 1727 in St. Hilary Parish Church, Wallasey.

He married ELIZABETH HOOTON on the 1st October 01, 1730 in St. Hilary Parish Church, Wallasey. They lived in Liscard and Thomas was a yeoman and husbandman.

Elizabeth was buried on the 3rd January, 1777 in St. Hilary Parish Church, Wallasey and Thomas was buried there on the 11th October, 1786.
