ROBERT STANLEY (WILLIAM9, JOHN8, ROBERT7, ROBERT6, JOHN5, HENRY4, GERARD3, HENRY2, RICHARD1, ) was born in Wallasey and was baptised on the 31st December, 1826 at St. Hilary Parish Church, Wallasey, Wirral.

He married ALICE DODD on the 31st August, 1846 in Our Lady and St. Nicholas Parish Church, Liverpool. Alice was the daughter of JOHN DODD. Robert and Alice were both living in Liverpool at the time of their marriage. Robert died on the 28th February, 1895 and Alice died on the 7th June,1898. They were both buried at Christ Church Parish Church, Moreton.

He married ALICE, who was born abt. 1848 in Saughall Massie, Wirral. William stayed with his grandmother, Mary Dodd, in 1861 and was a servant to Thomas Dodd (uncle) in 1871. He also worked for Eliza Ledsham as a farm servant. Later he became a farmer.
