THOMAS SHERLOCK was born about 1670 and married MARGERY about 1690. They were probably married in St. Hilary Parish Church,
Wallasey, but many marriages were not recorded between 1689 - 1694 because of the Great Plague.

JOSEPH SHERLOCK (RICHARD1) was baptised on the 30th January, 1776 in St. Bridget Parish Church, West
Kirby, Wirral. He married MARGARET JONES, daughter of PETER JONES and ELIZABETH HUGHES on the 13th August, 1800
at St. Peter Parish Church, Church Street, Liverpool. Joseph was a fisherman and they lived in Great Meols, Wirral.
Joseph died in Hoose and was buried on the 14th March, 1858 in St. Bridget Parish Church, West Kirby. Margaret,
who was still living in Hoose at her death was buried with her husband on the 25 th Novenber, 1860.
